Brad is one of the driving forces behind our company and a proud Idaho native. He’s got a knack for connecting with people and making everyone feel like family. When he’s not leading projects or helping clients, you’ll find him on the lake with his kids or working on real estate deals. Brad brings steady leadership, a down-to-earth attitude, and plenty of dad jokes to the team.

Desiree cares deeply about this business and the people behind it. A North Idaho native, she’s passionate about making sure the Coeur d’Alene Painting Group is around for generations to come. As COO, she oversees the big-picture pieces—finances, marketing, and building the brand—while keeping her family at the center of it all. Desiree is dedicated to her team, her community, and carrying forward a legacy of hard work and integrity.

Before there was Coeur d’Alene Painting Group, there was BJ’s Painting — started by Brad Sr. and his wife, Jame. Nearly 13 years ago, he passed the business on to his son and daughter-in-law, who rebranded it into what it is today. Even though he’s not at the shop every day, Brad Sr. still pops in to mentor the team, share his knowledge, and personally care for longtime customers to make sure jobs are done right. His patience, wisdom, and heart for people have shaped this company, and to all of us, he’ll always be The Legend.

Derek is the backbone of The Stain Shop, making sure everything runs smoothly day in and day out. With years of experience in the building materials industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and attention to detail that keeps projects on track and clients taken care of. He oversees the team, deliveries, client care, and vendor relationships, keeping the shop moving forward every day.

Liz is the steady hand that keeps Coeur d'Alene Painting Group running smoothly. She makes sure the day-to-day details—payroll, safety, HR, and all the moving parts—are handled with care and in line with our values. Outside of work, you’ll often find Liz giving back to the community by volunteering countless hours at the Humane Society, walking dogs, or out in the mountains hiking with her own pets by her side.

Doyle may be Head of Security but really he's here for the belly rubs & treats. Though he doesn't paint, but he sure knows how to brighten the shop. He comes to work every day with Brad, greeting contractors and clients like old friends. He’s quickly become the heart of the crew—so much so that families stop by just to see him.

Say hello to Kelly — she’s the one answering calls and emails, making sure our customers are taken care of with a friendly voice and a quick solution. From paying bills to running the mail, she keeps the behind-the-scenes tasks handled and still finds time to jump in wherever she’s needed. We’re grateful for all the ways Kelly keeps things moving.

Bryan keeps projects running smoothly from start to finish, whether it’s a new construction site or a family home. He works closely with our crews and clients to make sure every job is completed with care, quality, and safety in mind. You’ll often find Brian on-site, checking in with the team, making sure details are on point, and building the kind of trust that keeps our customers coming back.

Justin works side by side with Derek to keep The Stain Shop running smoothly. He focuses on quality control, training, and making sure every product that leaves the shop meets our high standards. From managing schedules to ensuring jobs are completed on time, Justin plays a key role in delivering the craftsmanship our clients count on.

Brooke is the master of keeping our CEO on task and our painting schedules running like clockwork. Detail-oriented and highly organized, she oversees the painters in the field, making sure materials are ordered, safety standards are met, and jobs stay on track. Her eye for detail and steady leadership are a big part of what keeps our projects moving forward smoothly.
